SHOW // 3/24 MARKLION (France) @ Kitsch Gallery
nightfogreader:
Tomorrow night will be the night to dance and sweat. The rain and yourself. Wetness all around. Kitsch Gallery hosts MARKLION, Kit Clayton (dj), Wav Dwgs (LIVE), and Dominique Leon (dj). MARKLION is the beat ego for Vicent T - former member of Dat Politics. But he wont be packing sound toys, he’ll be bringing a full bodied visual and audio implosion. 9pm.
MARKLION ” You, and...
I think the best pickup line for the Mission would be something like, ‘You make...

The Fresh and Onlys: Shayde's Mix "Kissing a...
Shayde Sartin, of San Francisco’s The Fresh and Onlys recently assembled a mix of songs for public consumption (Thanks dude!). Hands down, the F&Os are one of the city’s best bands right now, and it might have something to do with the fact that they’ve been doing rad shit for a long time, and maybe they have some rad tastes.
“Here’s a quick mix of songs...

At Kitsch Gallery: Yours Truly Presents: Miniature Tigers - “Dark Tower”
Last November, Yours Truly’s Heidi Petty and Aaron Buttig filmed this video at Kitsch Gallery. In the video you’ll see decorations leftover from a party, plus my birthday party, along with a chandelier by Claire Hummel. Below is a photo from the shoot, but the finished product looks awesome. Enjoy!

AS IF! Like a performance, DUH!
A few weeks ago I got wiff that Liz Franczak and Em Gift were working a live adaptation of the now classic 1995 film Clueless. It’s 2 months away, but they’ve decided to give the world a little tease of what is to come. I think you’re going to be excited too. They’ve launched a Kickstarter with lots of fun stuff: Check it out.

Mi Ami - Hard Up
From the new Mi Ami 12” “Dolphins”, out in March and available now for pre-order @ thrilljockey.com/catalog/index.html?id=105241. —- Cool video that splices footage of a Mi Ami show in SF from last November. Note, there’s one still of my tequila drunk face — it was also my birthday eve so that’s my excuse. The new Mi Ami sound is my new...

White Fence - The Love Between (Live)
San Francisco was officially spoiled last night. The 200+ bodies that filled the two floor Mission District warehouse were in for a treat. Opener Nick Waterhouse and the Turn-Keys took folks for on a ride of four part R&B harmonies. For the band’s second live show, they enjoyed a great reception (I picked up a 45 myself). Next, The Strange...
SF NYE 2011: Champagne Chipped Teeth, and Confetti...
It started with a $4.75 IPA Beer. Ryan of the Ganglians insisted that we pre-game before we make our way to the dance party a block away. I agreed. We buy booze, pick up some tacos and make our way back to Kitsch Gallery. We killed an hour with talk of Jeggings, Pajama Jeans, and Tiana’s one-liners to future club hits. En route, the walk seemed wild with the Capp Street corridor ant scattered...
